Colophon — how the issue was set.
Every issue ends with a colophon: the typography, the palette, the build, who set it, who proofed it, and where the source lives. This is that page.
Typography
- Display
- Fraunces by Phaedra Charles and Flavia Zimbardi (Undercase Type) — variable, with the SOFT and WONK axes flexed at masthead sizes for a Mutant Heritage feel. Italic at oversize for cover wordmarks and feature titles.
- Body
- Newsreader by Production Type — variable, opsz 6–72, wght 400–700. Designed for on-screen long-form reading; the optical-size axis means body type at 18 px is set at opsz 18, drop caps at opsz 144.
- Mono
- Departure Mono by Helena Zhang — pixel-display monospaced face used for kickers, cue times, ledger tables, and the cable-label strapping. Loaded via the Fontsource CDN.
Palette
The whitewash chalk paper + roadcase black foundation lives across the issue, with Lee 21 Gold Amber as the primary brand accent, gaff-tape neon yellow for caution, and signal red for emergency. Lee Just Blue makes occasional appearances as a cold accent in diagrams.

Build & deployment
The web edition is a static site: 26 HTML pages, one shared styles.css, one bespoke favicon.svg, plus images served from Picsum seeded by per-page topical strings. No JavaScript bundler, no transpilation, no build step. The site is deployed to Cloudflare Workers Static Assets with html_handling: "auto-trailing-slash" for directory-style URLs and not_found_handling: "404-page" for the 404 page.
The custom domain electrician-touring-nashville.ampifex.xyz is provisioned by wrangler at deploy time via the routes entry in wrangler.jsonc; DNS and TLS are managed automatically by Cloudflare. Live URL: https://electrician-touring-nashville.ampifex.xyz.
Print edition
The print edition is bound on a 1953 Heidelberg Windmill platen press at 815 Cowan Street, Bay 3. Cover stock: 80# Mohawk Loop antique vellum. Body stock: 50# Glatfelter book offset. Saddle-stitched, with the masthead set in Cooper Black at 36 pt by Marcus on the press, the body text composed digitally and offset-printed by Hatch Show Print up the road. Bound run: 64 copies, of which 24 sit on the shelf at the bay door, 14 are in the hands of trade subscribers (mostly Belmont audio-engineering students and IATSE 46 apprentices), 4 are in the truck cabs, and the remainder are sold at the bay for $24 each.

Errata, prior issues
- Vol. III No. 1 (Feb–Apr 2026) — p.34 mis-credited the Eastside Bowl room renovation electrical lead to Tobias Mahari; corrected: the lead was Hadley Polites. Mahari was the cable runner.
- Vol. II No. 4 (Nov–Jan 2025–26) — p.18 mis-cited NEC 525.23 as governing exclusively outdoor receptacles; the article also applies to public-accessible receptacles indoors at fairs and similar events. Corrected here.
- Vol. II No. 3 (Aug–Oct 2025) — p.41 a cable manifest line item was transposed; the cable BSP-115-FX-A2 was reported as 50 ft, actual 100 ft.
